About the Author

Nukila Amal was born in Ternate in 1971. She attended the Bandung Academy of Tourism and worked in the fields of finance and hospitality before pursuing a career as a writer. She published the novel Cala Ibi in 2003 and consequently published an award-winning short story collection titled Laluba in 2005.
