September activities at Lontar
September 10 Lontar supported LitBeat, part of the LiterAction Festival for book industry players in Indonesia. The event was held from Sept 10 to 11 at the National Library in Jakarta. September 13 Publishing insight and business matchmaking, part of the IBBF( Indonesia International Book Fair) 2018, during which publishers from the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Germany and Indonesia met to exchange views and possible collaboration. September 16 Kudos to Lontar and its founder-chairman John McGlynn on receiving an award from SATUPENA, the association of Indonesian writers on Sunday, Sept 16 at the IBBF. The award was presented in recognition of Lontar’s and John McGlynn’s dedication in promoting Indonesian fiction and non-fiction works to the world. |
